Trust isn't a feature we bolted on — it's how we built the platform. Here's exactly what happens to your data at every stage.
Your creatives
Videos and images you upload are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
Your content is stored solely for your analysis and playback — never shared, never exposed, never visible to anyone else
Only you (and your team members on a team plan) can view your uploads. No Omniscia staff have access to your raw creative files
You retain full ownership of everything you upload. We claim zero rights over your content
Delete any upload at any time — it's permanently removed, no backups retained, no recovery window
How Lens analyses work
Lens extracts frames and audio from your videos to score creative quality across 6 weighted categories
Analysis is performed by AI models (Anthropic Claude for vision, Google Gemini and OpenAI Whisper for audio) via secure, zero-retention API calls
These AI providers do not store or train on your content — data is processed and immediately discarded on their end
Analysis results (scores, recommendations, similarity data, metadata) are stored in your account only
Raw frames and audio used during analysis are temporary and discarded after processing — only the derived scores and classifications are kept
Cortex & machine learning
Cortex sharpens its reads using Omniscia's own anonymised analytical outputs — creative classifications (e.g. "visual style: UGC", "hook type: question") and aggregated performance metrics (e.g. average ROAS, CTR) generated by our AI pipeline
No video, audio, images, transcripts, personal information, or creative content is ever used for training — only the analytical intelligence Omniscia derives from processing
These analytical outputs cannot be traced back to you or your account — they describe what the AI observed, not the content itself. No user identifiers, ad names, or account references are stored
As fully anonymised, non-personal data (UK GDPR Recital 26), these outputs persist after account deletion to preserve model accuracy for all users — they contain zero identifiable content
Your personal Cortex model (built after 30+ linked campaigns) is deleted with your account
Cortex training is integral to the platform — every analysis contributes anonymised outputs that sharpen the model for all users. This network effect is what makes the intelligence engine valuable
Contribution is on by default so the engine gets smarter for everyone. You can turn it off any time in Profile > Settings — you'll still get your analyses and access to the global engine, you just won't add new rows to the pool
Meta auto-analyse
When you connect a Meta ad account (paid plans), Omniscia automatically downloads and analyses your video creatives through the Lens scoring engine
Videos are downloaded via Meta's Graph API using your authorised OAuth token, analysed, and linked to your real ad performance data (ROAS, CTR, CPA)
This linked data trains your personal Cortex engine, sharpening its reads against your audience and creative style
Only anonymised creative attributes and aggregated metrics are stored for training — no video content, audio, or personal data
Contributing to Cortex is on by default when you connect — toggle it off any time in Profile > Settings. Opting out still gives you full analysis results and the global engine
Third-party integrations
When you connect Meta, Google Ads, or TikTok, we sync performance metrics only (spend, impressions, ROAS, CTR, CPA, etc.) and, for Meta, automatically download video creatives for Lens analysis
We never access or store ad account payment information
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM, key stored separately from database) and can be revoked by you at any time — disconnect from your Profile page
We pull read-only data — we never modify your ad accounts without your explicit action (Launch publishing requires your confirmation for every campaign)
Payment processing is handled entirely by Paddle — we never see or store your card details
Deletion & account control
Delete individual analyses, uploads, or your entire account at any time — no approval process, no waiting period
Deletion is permanent and immediate — no 30-day holds, no hidden backups, no "soft delete"
Upon account deletion: all uploads, analyses, linked data, OAuth connections, and personal information are permanently purged
Omniscia's anonymised analytical outputs (creative classifications and aggregated metrics) remain in the Cortex engine — these are Omniscia's derived intelligence, not your personal data. They contain no video, audio, images, ad names, account identifiers, or any information that could identify you
What we don't do
Sell, share, or expose your data to third parties
Use your videos or creatives for AI model training
Display your content to other users
Store payment card details — handled by Paddle
Run ads against your data or monetise it beyond your subscription
Retain deleted content in any identifiable form — anonymised analytical outputs (which contain no content) persist solely for model accuracy
Access your ad accounts without your explicit authorisation
Share your analysis results, scores, or performance data with anyone
Intel (competitor analysis)
Competitor ads analysed through Intel are sourced exclusively from Meta's publicly accessible Ad Library
Competitor media is temporarily downloaded for analysis and deleted immediately after — no competitor content is stored
Only derived analytical classifications (scores, creative attributes) are retained
If you're an advertiser whose creatives appear in Intel results and wish to request removal, contact legal@omniscia.ai
